Decisions, decisions, decisions!

We have been telling people who buy our bracelets and anklets that we are giving the money to an orphanage in Ethiopia, and it's true. The only problem is we haven't decided on what to give to the orphanage. So you see our delima, there is so much they need we just can't decide! Should we give medicine that could heal kids or something that will put smiles on their faces or something that they can use daily? (Although getting better should put a smile on their face. he he!) Please tell us what you think by posting a comment or voting in the poll which is on the right column. Thanks!

A Great Success!

Wow, Saturday was amazing! We went to swim team championships, which was packed full of kids and their parents, and we made a lot of money! We almost sold every one of our anklets and bracelets! We had soo many people asking to help us, sorry to those we had to say no to but we can't let every one help behind the stand or else we wouldn't be able to sell them to anyone. If you are reading this and that's you scroll down to the bottom to find ways to get invloved. We had so much fun, we ended up making around 70 dollars! We also got 27 dollars of donation money from parents attending an adoption class, "When Hope Has a Name", taught by my mom. All together we have around 210 dollars and we hope to spend it on fleece for blankets and maybe something else too but we haven't decided yet. Thanks to every one who has contributed and anyone who has given a donation or bought something, every little bit counts! (pictures to come soon!)

We decided it would be fun to each have a matching uniform for when we sell bracelets or have any sort of kids care function so we headed to Michael's. When we returned we went straight to work. They may have not came out how we exactly planed but we still think they're pretty cool!

Swim Meet!

We had a great time selling anklets at Hannah's qualifications, we beat our record by 15 cents, and Hannah made it to championships! Way to go!

Sisters helping sisters

Sisters helping sisters! Even though they use bigger beads or "bees" as Gracie calls it, helping makes them feel included and a part of something. They should be very good at it once they get a little older and can get smaller beads on the string but for now they're "making the bees and helping their big sis!"

A New Helper

Our good friend Emma and her mom have been very supportive of our cause. Emma has decided to get invloved by helping us make blankets, bracelets, and anklets. Thanks Emma!

This summer we continued with our goal to raise funds for Project G.L.O.W. through our bracelet and anklet making projects. We have been selling them at swim meets and anywhere else we can. A couple weeks ago we broke our record for the most money made in one night, fourty-eight dollars. The average cost of our bracelets and anklets is seventy-five cents so to us fourty-eight dollars was a lot. We celebrated by throwing the money in the air and jumping for joy!
