Kids Are Caring Every where!
I just found out that my cousin, who lives in on the other side of the U.S., is trying to get her conformation class to do something to help our cause. Thanks!

We had great success today...in 90 degree weather...we sold $188 worth of bracelets, some that even Gracie had made! Money was sent with my mom's friends who are on their way to Ethiopia to pick up their daughter. We were just glad that we could sell outside before the hurricane winds hit the next day!

Beads, more beads, less beads, and bees update.
We had another get-together last night, it was the same as the last one except that we had more bracelets and less sales. I guess you can't sell to the same crowd twice. Oh well, at least we are stocking up. There is a fair we hope to sell some bracelets at this month but other than that it's been pretty slow with school starting up and all. We probably have at least 70 bracelets which is pretty good since we are gonna be busy with school. Gracie still continues to ask me "can I play a bees?" She has gotten really good actually, she is able to put really small beads on a string now and if I lay a pattern of beads out for her you would have never known that a three year old made it! I will post some pictures soon!

Results
The results are in! The poll has ended, thank you for voting. The result for the question, "What should the money be used for?", was 80% all of the above, 3% medicine, 1% baby mobiles, and 1% some blankets. So thank you for your input, we will hopefully come to a decision about what to send over to Ethiopia soon.

A Get-together
Well, last night we had a get-togther while my mom and some grown-ups met in another room to talk about adoption. We, including some supportive friends, made bracelets while the adults talked. When they were done we sold some to the adults. We ended up making $55! A lot was donation, thanks!
A special thanks to Emma, Olivia, Taylor, Jenna, and Alex. You know who you are and what you did. :)

another idea
I've heard today that some one has bought lumber for a swing set for the orphanage. We can probably afford the swings and send them over with a family who is adopting a child in September. Good idea? no? maybe? Post a comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
